For anybody training right now. Ask the question you are embarrassed to ask your instructor. Instructors are here to answer, not to grade you.
No question is too basic. Instructors: answer, do not lecture. Nobody posts their own hours as a flex here.

Thing I wish somebody had told me at 20 hours: your landings will get worse before they get better, and it happens right about the time you start thinking you have it. That is not regression, it is your standards moving faster than your hands. Keep going.

not a pilot student, im an A&P apprentice, but can i say that reading you all describe the airplane from the inside has made me better at my job. i understand now why a pilot cares so much about a squawk that looks minor on paper
