not a pilot student, im an A&P apprentice, but can i say that reading you all describe the airplane from the inside has made me better at my job. i understand now why a pilot cares so much about a squawk that looks minor on paper

Every pilot should spend a week in a maintenance shop and every mechanic should spend a week in a cockpit. The industry would be measurably safer.
