Work Outline and ObligationsThe Chief Plan and Development, UX, leads a team of junior designers, maintaining the product design between business needs and delivery for united.com and the Unified application.The Ranking Director UX and Supervisor UX focus on design thinking, research, testing, and launch.Apply strong communication, scientific, and critical thinking to identify, articulate, and resolve issues, drive improvements, and support business ventures.Provide training and growth opportunities for the Center UX group.Lead the creation, planning, and execution of design solutions across complex UX/UI business challenges.Articulate a shared vision for UX strategy, explain each component’s role, and refine content to improve client experience.Ensure consistency and adherence to the ATMOS design system and core values throughout the design lifecycle.Manage executive stakeholders with an organized approach, enabling core UX designers to investigate and define abstract spaces.Identify opportunities to leverage design for existing UX/UI interactions and product components.Vet new ideas for feasibility, fit, and scalability across the company’s digital channels.Provide input to architects and product owners on future design needs.Apply product vision and strategy to the project while adapting strategic requirements to communicate goals.Demonstrate strong consultation skills and the ability to incorporate new perspectives into CoreUX initiatives.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent); four‑year degree in design, engineering, or related field.

1+ year leading UX process‑improvement initiatives.1+ year participating in essential design thinking cross‑functional UX teams.1+ year working with Sketch, Figma, InVision, Zeplin, and industry‑standard design tools.1+ year applying design system and enterprise design practices in a production environment.1+ year managing phased deliverables across a client‑focused design framework.Strong research and testing skills with deep understanding of product strategy and iterative delivery.Proficiency in leading complex design challenges requiring user research or design exploration.Experience resolving high‑impact design problems and providing iterative support.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Expertise in gathering requirements and investigating user needs.Visionary thinking, product, and system design skills.Strategic influence and problem‑solving capabilities.Solid communication in both verbal and written form.Insight into innovation frameworks and user experience tools.EEO StatementJoined Aircrafts is an equal‑opportunity employer.
