WingmanPro started as an idea in early February 2024, born from a simple realization: while aviation is one of the most advanced industries in the world—airplanes flying through the sky with cutting-edge technology—the way professionals network, find jobs, and hire is still stuck in the past.
There was no central place for aviation professionals to truly connect. No structured platform for sharing opportunities, collaborating, or discovering side gigs that match real certifications and licenses. So we built WingmanPro—to bring structure, simplicity, and community to the industry we love.
WingmanPro is built for the aviation industry, by the aviation industry. Whether you’re a pilot, mechanic, dispatcher, flight attendant, or ramp agent—our goal is to make it easier for you to connect, find work, and grow your professional network.
We’re working to streamline aviation hiring, make job searches smarter, and open up new opportunities like contract gigs and project-based work that help professionals make the most of their skills and time.
This is just the beginning. WingmanPro will keep growing with the industry, and we want to build it with you. We’re always open to feedback, feature ideas, or new directions—so please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your experience is shaping the future of how aviation connects.
We believe that aviation professionals deserve a platform built with them in mind. Our mission is to simplify the way the industry hires, networks, and collaborates, by providing a single place for aviation talent and employers to find each other—faster, easier, and smarter.
Whether you’re looking for your next full-time role, picking up contract work, or building your network—WingmanPro is here to help you take flight.
Whether you’re flying, fueling, fixing, or coordinating behind the scenes—WingmanPro is built for you. From pilots and mechanics to flight attendants, dispatchers, charter brokers, and beyond, we’re creating a space where every aviation professional can connect, grow, and find new opportunities.
Jay grew up as a third culture kid in Dubai, where his passion for aviation began early—sparked by flying on Emirates A380s and 777s between the Middle East and the U.S. After moving back to Bozeman, Montana, he began flight training with Summit Aviation and eventually became a contract corporate pilot, flying a variety of aircraft on diverse missions across the country.
A passionate networker, Jay has always loved connecting with new people and regularly attends aviation events to build relationships and learn from others in the field. But over time, he realized something was missing: while events were energizing and full of potential, there was no central, lasting digital space to continue those connections once everyone went home. That realization became part of the foundation for WingmanPro.
As a newer pilot, Jay also experienced the frustration of trying to find flying jobs with 300 or 500 hours—there was no streamlined hub to discover those opportunities, especially for low-time pilots who didn’t want to go the traditional CFI route. He knew there were jobs out there—but no centralized way to find them.
In 2024, Jay co-founded WingmanPro with his close friend and business partner, Jonathan Schaff, to help solve these problems. Their vision was simple: to build a platform that connects the entire aviation industry—from mechanics and ramp workers to brokers, dispatchers, and both high- and low-time pilots—with real opportunities and professional connections.
With a love for Gulfstreams, seaplanes, and international flying (he’s visited 47 countries and counting), Jay is committed to building WingmanPro into a place where aviation professionals don’t just search for jobs—they build careers, communities, and long-term networks.
Jonathan grew up outside Philadelphia and began his career in finance and technology, playing a key role in launching Capital One’s first mobile app. In 2015, he left the banking world to develop a margin lending bot for cryptocurrency and co-founded a company focused on preventing scams in the crypto space.
His love for aviation soon took over—both as a pilot and entrepreneur. Over the years, Jonathan has built and invested in multiple aviation startups, including ventures in pilot staffing, aircraft leasing, and hangar rentals. He also invests in a portfolio of vacation rentals across the U.S., combining his eye for hospitality with operational excellence.
Jonathan is an avid pilot with thousands of hours in the cockpit, including multiple solo transatlantic crossings in both a HondaJet and single-engine turboprop. He serves on the board of the HondaJet Owners and Pilots Association (HJOPA) and regularly flies Angel Flight missions, helping transport patients from rural areas to receive critical care.
In 2024, he co-founded WingmanPro with his good friend Jay Kadir to solve the two biggest problems he saw in aviation hiring: finding good pilots and finding good jobs. Their vision was to create a centralized platform that connects all parts of the industry—from flight crews to ground teams—with real opportunities and long-term career paths.
When he’s not flying, building, or investing, Jonathan’s probably on a pickleball court—he caught the bug in 2020 and hasn’t looked back.
