Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the inspection, repair, maintenance, and return-to-service of general aviation aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring aircraft airworthiness, managing maintenance operations, supervising technicians, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and perform inspections, routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on general aviation aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations.Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and accurately.Ensure maintenance records and documentation comply with FAA requirements and company procedures.Coordinate with leadership to maintain aircraft regulatory compliance and operational readiness.Train, mentor, and support maintenance personnel while promoting safe work practices.Ensure current technical manuals, maintenance data, and documentation are readily available.Maintain required tools, equipment, and calibration records.Oversee the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the hangar and maintenance facilities.Manage aircraft parts inventory to minimize downtime while maintaining cost-effective stock levels.Ensure fire safety equipment and other safety systems are regularly inspected and maintained.Delegate maintenance tasks to qualified personnel while maintaining overall responsibility for maintenance operations.Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce aircraft downtime.

Qualifications Required

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate in good standing.Minimum 5 years of General Aviation aircraft maintenance experience.Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance procedures, and documentation requirements.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and implement effective solutions.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred

Previous Maintenance Manager or maintenance leadership experience.High School Diploma or GED.
