We are seeking an experienced Drone Pilot / UAS Operator to support our asphalt and construction operations through safe, compliant, and professional drone flights. This role will assist project teams with aerial data collection for progress tracking, inspections, stockpile measurements, and documentation on active jobsites.The ideal candidate has hands‑on construction experience, strong FAA compliance knowledge, and the ability to communicate drone data in a way that is useful to field and management teams.Compensation & Benefits Industry‑leading wagesCompany truck or vehicle allowance; fuel cardCompany phone, tablet, and/or laptopMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany‑paid life insuranceShort‑term and long‑term disability plansPTO, paid sick days, and paid holidays401(k) with company matchEmployee stock purchase program (if applicable)Annual boot or PPE allowance (if applicable)Professional and career development opportunitiesJob Duties Operate drones on active construction and asphalt jobsites in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulationsConduct pre‑flight planning, airspace checks, safety briefings, and risk assessmentsCapture aerial imagery and video for: Project progress documentationStockpile and material measurements (aggregate, RAP, asphalt)Inspections and site overviewsProcess and deliver usable data, maps, reports, and imagery to project teamsCoordinate with superintendents, foremen, and project managers during flightsMaintain flight logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentationEnsure safe operations around crews, heavy equipment, traffic, and live paving activitiesTravel between multiple jobsites as neededSupport the development and standardization of drone procedures and best practicesExperience & Knowledge Required Experience operating drones for commercial or construction useKnowledge of FAA rules, airspace restrictions, and jobsite safety requirementsAbility to work around heavy equipment, crews, and active construction zonesStrong communication skills and professional judgmentValid driver’s license and ability to travel to jobsitesPhysical & Working Conditions Outdoor jobsite environments with exposure to dust, heat, noise, and trafficAbility to stand, walk, and navigate active construction areasAbility to lift and transport drone equipmentConfidential Data Access to sensitive information such as project costs, wage data, schedules, operational plans, and other confidential materials requiring discretion.EEOC Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
