Description
The Line Service Technician (LST) is responsible for providing safe, efficient aircraft ground handling services while delivering exceptional customer service to aircraft owners, guests, and flight crews. This role is handson and operationsfocused, supporting all arriving and departing aircraft with professionalism, urgency, and a positive attitude.
Aircraft Ground Handling & Ramp Operations
Perform aircraft fueling, towing, parking, deicing, placement, and basic cleaningOperate a wide range of aircraft ground support equipment in accordance with procedures and safety standardsEnsure timely and accurate delivery of all required ground support services for arriving and departing aircraftMaintain continuous ramp awareness, including aircraft movement, FOD prevention, and changing weather conditionsPerform duties with attention to detail and minimal supervisionSafety & Compliance
Promote safe operations by protecting customers, employees, aircraft, and equipment from harmFollow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulationsUse sound judgment when making timely decisions during active operationsSupport a safetyfocused culture by maintaining awareness of ramp hazards and operational risksCustomer Service & Experience

Working conditions and physical demands for this role -
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, including extreme heat and cold; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration; and chemicals, including aviation fuels, oils, and lavatory fluid. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Modern Aviation's Pay Range -
$23.00- $25.00/hr. + benefits.
The Modern Aviation pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or other laws.
