About the position
The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking an Experienced Production Pilot to join our Production Flight Test organization. This position involves an initial training period in Seattle, WA, followed by a long-term assignment of 2-3 years to Zhoushan, China, with relocation and assignment benefits provided. Upon completion of the international assignment, the pilot will return to Seattle to continue supporting Boeing's delivery flight operations. The primary responsibility will be to conduct initial and follow-on production flights and customer demonstration flights on newly manufactured or completed 737 airplanes in both Seattle, WA, and Zhoushan, China.
Responsibilities
Plans and conducts production and acceptance test flightsDemonstrates or leads the production acceptance processIdentifies and documents flight deficiencies and coordinates resolutionCoordinates with multiple stakeholders internally and externally to BoeingPlans, coordinates, and conducts ferry, support, and functional test flights on production and non-production aircraftServes as Pilot-In-CommandRequirements
Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asyleeBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementExperience piloting turbine powered aircraftAbility to obtain and maintain a valid passport and travel internationally without restrictionFAA first class medical certificate1500 flight hoursNice-to-haves
