Schedule * Floor: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-min unpaid lunch) * Call: 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM * Call Rotation: 1:2 (every other weekend + ~2 nights/week) * Start times may vary based on surgical cases
Work Details * Support Staff: Yes * Patients per Day: 5–8 * EMR: Epic
Responsibilities * Round on post-op cardiovascular surgery patients * First assist in cardiovascular/CT surgery * Evaluate patients in clinic * Interpret EKGs, X-rays, and labs * Manage advanced cardiac support devices
Skills Required * Endoscopic vein harvesting * Radial artery harvesting * ECMO * IABP * Impella
Credentialing * ~60 days (up to 60–90 days for privileging) * Expedited start possible with clean file
