The logbook conversion, since three people have now asked me privately. I rebuilt mine from the form 5 into a civilian format by hand, line by line, over about six weeks. It is miserable and it is the single highest value thing I did. Recruiters will not do it for you and a spreadsheet dump is not a logbook.

From the hiring side: a clean converted logbook is an enormous signal. It says you can do dull, exact work without supervision, which is most of this job.

Did the same coming out of the Army into EMS. Six weeks sounds about right. Do it before you are on terminal leave and busy moving house.
