Instructors, when you sign a recommendation you are telling me you would be comfortable if this applicant flew your family somewhere. If that sentence gives you pause, do not sign it yet. I would much rather meet them a month later.

Printing this for the instructor room. The pressure to sign early comes from the schedule and it should never come from the schedule.
