We lost two instructors to the regionals this month, which is exactly what is supposed to happen and it still wrecks the schedule. If you are a CFI deciding where to work, ask the chief instructor how many students they assign per instructor. Anything over eight and you are a scheduler who occasionally flies.

Eight is the number. Above that I stopped remembering which student was on which lesson and started reading my own notes during the run up.
