unpopular avionics opinion. the intermittent fault is not intermittent. it is a fault with a condition you have not identified yet. temperature, vibration, moisture, load. find the condition and it stops being a ghost. i have never once found a truly random electrical problem in eight years

This is exactly what the shop told me about my autopilot and they were wrong. Turned out to be a static line. Condition was moisture.

Same in the sim. Every ghost I have chased for a week ended up being temperature. Nothing is random, we are just impatient.
