Sim tech reality check for anyone romanticising it. Yes I get to sit in a 737 flight deck every day. I also spend most of my week under the floor with a torch in my mouth chasing a hydraulic leak that only shows up when the box is pitching. It is maintenance. The view is just better.

It is maintenance and the view is just better. That is the most honest sentence anybody has written about working around airplanes.
