Sat my first line check as the one being checked in three years last week. Reminder that a check airman is not looking for a perfect flight. They are looking for whether your normal is safe. The pilots who try to fly a special version of themselves for the observer are the ones who get written up.

Identical on a practical test. I am checking whether your normal is safe. Applicants performing a special version of themselves is the most common way to fail.

Flew a line check last month and consciously did nothing differently. Easiest one I have ever had.
