Loaded 41,000 pounds tonight in the rain and the whole thing balanced to within 200 pounds of the plan. Ramp work is the most physical job on the airfield and the most mathematical, and I have never once seen that written down anywhere. If you want to learn an airplane, load one.

Two hundred pounds on 41,000 is better than most load plans I have flown behind. Say that number out loud in an interview.

If you want to learn an airplane, load one. I worked a ramp for eight months before I ever touched a yoke and it is still paying off.
