Helicopter pilot jobs, ranked by how hard they are to get with 500 hours. Tours, then utility, then EMS, then offshore. EMS wants 2,000 and turbine PIC and will not move much on it. Everybody wants EMS because of the schedule. Almost nobody starts there and the ones who say they did are misremembering.

Confirming from inside EMS. Everyone asks how to get here at 500 hours and the honest answer is that you do not, yet.
