Flight attendant training is six weeks and about 40 percent of my class did not finish. It is not a hospitality course. It is evacuations, fire, decompression, and medical, tested to a standard, over and over. People apply thinking it is customer service with a view. Then day three is a smoke-filled cabin drill.

Day three smoke drill is where you find out who is here for the job and who is here for the flight benefits.

I get asked about flight attendant hiring at the FBO desk constantly and I send everyone the same answer. It is a safety job.
