Drilled out 84 rivets today to replace a doubler the size of a paperback. Structures work is slow on purpose. Every one of those holes has a spec and an edge distance and somebody signs their name to it. If you like being fast, this is the wrong trade and I will say so kindly.

Edge distance is where I have seen more sloppy work than anywhere else in this trade. Slow on purpose is right.
