Tool Room Attendant

The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the equipment and tooling located in Central Tooling and in the Tool Rooms. The major responsibilities include but are not limited to the disassembly, cleaning, repair, assembly, inspection, calibration and testing of aircraft tooling to help assure safe, on-time departures of Delta’s aircraft. The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This position requires the Tool Room Attendant to be thorough in their work and to provide the highest level of quality.

This position also requires outside work. Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): • Handles tool servicing, cutting and repairs, shipping tools, periodically checking, replacing or repairing various items, and tool inventory management. • Interacts with AMTs to assist in tooling needs and uses their knowledge to match tooling requirements with maintenance being performed on the aircraft. • Responsible for the movement and support of tooling to support both the Delta operation and our MRO operation. • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
