This position will be responsible for supporting Delta’s third-party Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business by developing detailed risk analyses, analyzing maintenance program performance, and driving process improvements. The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on driving excellent financial and operational performance in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. As part of this role, you will support the operating team identify opportunities to improve financial / operational performance, execute shop LEAN initiatives, generate long-term project plans related to financial / operational performance, monitor and refine operational KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Prepare and present business updates / strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Support contract fulfillment and contract execution by reporting performance relative to business cases and supporting the business achieve associated metrics. This position will develop, implement, and maintain activity base costing processes, and tools to assess financial performance and understand maintenance cost drivers. You’ll interact daily with the Commercial team, product team and develop relationships to maximize results. Additionally, you’ll develop strategic and tactical plans that create a safety conscious environment which result in employee safety and well-being.
