VP Aviation is hiring Structures Mechanics for heavy maintenance and C-checks on Airbus aircraft in Lake City, Florida. This is an open-ended contract offering long-term work for experienced aircraft structures mechanics. If you like the work and the customer likes your performance, you can stay as long as you want.

Responsibilities • Perform structural repairs during heavy maintenance and C-checks on Airbus aircraft.
• Fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical data.
• Complete all assigned work in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
• Accurately document all maintenance performed.
• Use hand tools, gauges, measuring equipment, and specialty tools required for aircraft structural repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work effectively with fellow technicians to meet production schedules.
