Position Overview PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Aviation Product Acceptance Specialist - Quality to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role is responsible for conducting customer order verification activities in compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements (FAA, CAA, etc.), and customer-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality inspection, aerospace manufacturing, SAP systems, and aviation documentation.
Key Responsibilities • Conduct customer order verification to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Perform detailed physical inspections of customer orders and aviation components.
• Determine FAA approval types and part applications.
• Complete FAA Form 8130-3 and non-regulatory documentation, including ATA 106 documentation.
• Verify product conformance requirements and validate supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Validate FAA Type Approval Codes for customer products.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders to support customer satisfaction.
• Segregate, document, and control non-conforming materials.
• Scan and route products through the inspection process.
• Enter and maintain quality-related data in SAP.
• Scan materials in and out of Quality Assurance systems.
• Support additional Quality Assurance activities as assigned by QA Leadership and management.
• Route work appropriately based on weight requirements and redirect material as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with customer flow-down requirements.
