What is the opportunity? Respond with Compassionate Action We are seeking a Ministry Pilot to join our Mission Aviation Services team in Entebbe, Uganda. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Ministry Pilot, you will have the opportunity to: • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.

• Operate Cessna C208B Caravan and DC-3 aircraft throughout Eastern Africa, supporting ministry operations.

• Conduct safe and efficient flight operations in support of ministry activities, including flight planning, weather and route analysis, aircraft weight and balance calculations, and the safe loading and transportation of passengers, baggage, and cargo.

• Perform thorough pre-flight, post-flight, and routine aircraft inspections to identify discrepancies and ensure aircraft safety, airworthiness, operational readiness, and compliance with applicable aviation regulations and ministry procedures.

• Maintain the aircraft in a clean, orderly, and mission-ready condition, including cabin and restroom sanitation, and ensure required charts, navigation databases, software, and other flight-related resources remain current and organized.

• Support aircraft and facility operations by assisting with hangar, property, and aircraft maintenance activities within the scope of pilot responsibilities, coordinating with maintenance personnel and the FAA as assigned.

• Other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications? Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two (2) to four (4) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum 2,500 total flight hours, including at least 500 hours in turboprop and/or turbojet aircraft.

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single-Engine Land, Airplane Multi-Engine Land, and Instrument ratings required.

• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate required.

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.

• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, an opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire.
