Chief Certified Flight Instructor for a Part 141/61 flight school. Most of our work is done under Part 61, but we have few students that want 141 and a summer program that requires 141 work. Long standing company with a great reputation, especially in the flight training community. Person must meet the requirements of FAR 141.35.
Chief CFI will be responsible for all the hiring and supervising of other CFI's. Currently have approximately 30 part-time CFI, of which most are students at Purdue University. We have a great working relationship with Purdue University School of Aviation Transportation and Technology. Chief CFI will also be responsible for interacting with FAA, maintaining safety and quality of the flight school. This will be your department to run as you see fit, as long as safety, quality and integrity stay in place.
Must have the following: Meet requirements for 141.35 Have CFI, CFII, CFMEI (preferred) 2 years experience to train CFI's. High standards for safety and quality Willing to relocate to West Lafayette, IN area.
Pay starts at 125K. Normal working hours Medical Vision Dental 401K/matching.
