Position: Part 135 Chief Pilot - Global Express
Location: Houston, Texas (Commutable Position)
Company Overview: We are a growing company seeking a well-qualified and highly motivated Part 135 Chief Pilot to join our team. This pivotal role is based in Houston, Tx and offers the opportunity to contribute to the leadership and operational success of our dynamic aviation operation.
Position Summary: The Chief Pilot will support the management team and is responsible for overseeing and managing flight crews. This position requires expertise in 14 CFR Part 135 regulatory compliance, TSA standards, personnel management, and training development. The Chief Pilot must maintain currency and proficiency in the Bombardier Global Express aircraft and will play a key role in policy and procedural development to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: • Fulfill the applicable management qualifications under 14 CFR 119.69 and 14 CFR 119.71. • Oversee and manage all flight crew members, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations. • Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to meet safety, regulatory, and operational standards. • Monitor and ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 135, TSA regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements. • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization. • Serve as a liaison with regulatory authorities and represent the company during inspections, audits, or certifications.
Qualifications: • Meet the management and experience requirements under 14 CFR 119.69 and 14 CFR 119.71. • Extensive experience in Part 135 operations and thorough knowledge of applicable FAA and TSA regulations. • Type rating and proficiency in Bombardier Global Express aircraft required. • Proven leadership skills with experience in personnel management and crew training. • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. • Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
