Job Summary Were looking for a motivated individual to join our aircraft painting team. As a trainee, youll work alongside experienced technicians to prepare and paint aircraft.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Paint experience in a technical environment or trade school preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with exterior surface prep for primer and topcoat application
• Apply masking materials, sand, and wash aircraft surfaces
• Apply corrosion preventative materials and primer
• Sand primer and surfacer in prep for base coat
• Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies
Additional Duties:
• Care for shop equipment and tools
• Follow Paint shop standard practices
• Perform other duties as assigned
Other Requirements:
• English language proficiency
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering docs
• Pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator cert
• Lift up to 40 pounds and work in varied environments
Uniform Policy
• Uniform Requirements : Purchase uniforms from designated supplier (CINTAS).
• Interim Attire : Wear navy-blue shirt/t-shirt and blue work pants/shorts (no denim) prior to receiving uniforms.
• Suggested Items :
• 3 T-Shirts
• 3 Flat front pants
• 2 Face masks (in case the mask mandate returns)
• Safety Shoes : Steel-toed shoes required for job duties.
