Job Description
Max Private Label manufactures, distributes, and markets beauty and personal care products in over 50 countries around the world including in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
We are currently seeking a full-time experienced line mechanic who will work in our plant located in Streamwood, IL.
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong mechanical aptitude, and will be proactive in fixing, setting up, and carefully inspect production machinery to ensure that we have no down time and maintain productivity expectations. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
· Communicates directly with the Operations Manager to coordinate maintenance and repair work and set-up in production areas.
Monitors operation of production equipment and systems.Initiates and completes projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.Sanitize equipment prior production startup of next product for filling lines.Minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.Maintain plant cleanliness as required.
Requirements:
Experience:At least 3 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in a manufacturing environment, or tech set-up position.
Education:
High school or technical certification in maintenance field. Significant experience and special training may be considered.Core competencies:
Communication, general electrical experience, mechanical aptitude in multiple areas.Equipment knowledge:
· Resina & Kiss cappers / positive displacement pumps, Waukesha / Fillers, Overflow & Piston / Domino Coders / Lighting Mixers / Conveyors & Accumulation Tables, 3M case Sealers /Pluming, Low pressure Boilers, Pipe fitting.
