Lead Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) – GA / Turbine / Ag Aircraft

Patriot Aviation is hiring a Lead Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) to take ownership of maintenance projects and help lead a growing shop. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can work independently, keep projects moving, and hold a high standard of workmanship.

We are a full-service FBO supporting Part 135 charter, Part 137 ag operations, flight training, and general aviation maintenance.

Aircraft we operate and maintain:

-King Air E90 (PT6) -Cessna 310R (twin piston) -Air Tractor 602 / 802 -Piper Archer -Various customer aircraft

What You'll Do

-Take assigned maintenance projects from start to completion -Diagnose, repair, and maintain aircraft to FAA standards -Track labor and parts usage accurately -Help lead and direct junior mechanics -Keep projects moving with urgency and accountability -Communicate clearly with management and team

What We're Looking For

-A&P Certificate (required) -5+ years of general aviation experience -Ability to work independently and lead projects -Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills

Preferred:

-PT6 / turbine experience -King Air experience -Twin Cessna experience -Agricultural aircraft experience

Schedule

-Monday – Friday, 0800–1630 -Overtime as needed to complete jobs -AOG callouts (as available) -Seasonal night work (July 15 – August 15) for ag operations

Pay & Benefits
