The King Air Academy is known as "the" place to go for King Air training. Our clients receive the finest Initial and Recurrent training available. King Air Academy is currently accepting applications for full-time instructor positions in Phoenix, AZ.
This a full time instructor position requiring CFI, MEI, CFII. The successful candidate will provide both classroom and flight training in all models of Beechcraft King Airs. Flight training is primarily conducted in one of our six King Air simulators, and frequently in the customer's aircraft. Although the majority of training is accomplished at our location, a small amount of travel may be required for clients requesting on-site training.
Required Qualifications and Experience: • FAA Flight Instructor Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine and Instrument-Airplane ratings • Bachelor's degree; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience • FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate • 2,000 hours PIC in airplanes and 500 hours PIC in multi-engine airplanes • 1,000 hours of Dual Instruction given • Must have the right to work in the USA continuously
Desired Qualifications: • Corporate, CFR Part 135, or Part 121 operational experience • PT6A or TPE331 powered turboprop aircraft experience • BE-300 type rating is highly desired • Experience teaching in aircraft simulators is highly desired
