What is Reservations? Reservations serves as a key point of contact for our customers before, during, and after travel. This internship is a back-office role based at our General Offices (GO), where you’ll support our Customer Engagement Centers by providing behind-the-scenes support that helps improve the experience of both Delta customers and the agents who serve them.
Job Summary: The Reservations Intern serves as an internal consultant, leading semester-long projects that support divisional strategies and goals. These initiatives often involve cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance both customer and employee experiences. Interns apply strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills to tasks such as: • Resolving product and project issues and risks • Performing extensive data collection and analysis • Identifying process improvement opportunities
These large, complex projects may involve highly confidential material and carry moderate financial risk. The final project deliverable is a capstone presentation to division leaders highlighting lessons learned, impact made, and recommendations moving forward.
