Aircraft Avionics Technician Pays up to $40/hr depending on experience (per diem for eligible candidates) 1st and 2nd shift openings 6 month contract to hire **Open to any airframe experience** Perform avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation on AW139 helicopters and other aircraft in an FAA repair station environment. Responsibilities include wire harness fabrication, system diagnostics, avionics modifications, and maintenance documentation. Work with systems such as transponders, navigation/communication equipment, radar, and DME while supporting heavy maintenance and completion projects. Requirements: • 4+ years of avionics experience on any airframe • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read wiring diagrams/schematics • Experience with avionics installations, repairs, and wire harness fabrication • Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred: • AW139 or other helicopter experience • Garmin, Honeywell, or Cobham avionics experience • FCC GROL and/or FAA A&P certification • Corporate, commercial, military, or helicopter aviation experience
Work Environment: Based in a Philadelphia-area MRO and completion center, supporting helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft maintenance, modifications, and avionics installations in a fast-paced, safety-focused hangar environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
