Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.. 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft. Gulfstream type rating preferred.. ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required. Other 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required. Position Purpose: Act as crew within Gulfstream Flight Operations Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: • In accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP, as crew, domestically and internationally (when qualified), operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, production test, and any other functions as assigned .
• Must possess a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations .
• Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and our Customers .
• Manage and execute any assigned ancillary responsibilities .
• Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies, department Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures .
• Effectively coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed .
Additional Functions: • Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity .
• Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities .
• Strive to be a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics .
