Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead our maintenance facility. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing day-to-day P&L, driving operational efficiency, and commanding the respect of a technical team. The ideal candidate is a "hard-driving" people manager who can navigate a fast-paced, scrappy environment while fostering talent and maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily operations of the 10,000-square-foot maintenance facility.
• P&L Management: Take full ownership of the shop’s financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
• Team Management: Lead a team of approximately 13–15 technicians. You must be able to hire, fire, and mentor staff, building training pathways for junior mechanics.
• Technical Credibility: Command the respect of experienced mechanics by demonstrating deep industry knowledge. You must be able to speak the language of the shop floor and understand complex maintenance tasks (e.g., sheet metal work, engine overhauls, avionics).
• Strategic Growth: Support the transition to a larger hangar and manage a diverse fleet, including Challenger 604/605/650s and Excel/XLS/XLS Plus aircraft.
