Taughannock Aviation is seeking to fill a position within our aircraft maintenance organization. We are a FAA certified 14CFR 145 Repair Station with both airframe and avionics capabilities.
• An A&P Certificate which is in good standing with the FAA is required. • Passing of a Drug Test is a prerequisite for employment. • Passing of the Ithaca Airport Security requirements allowing you access to all areas of the airport is a prerequisite for employment. • Knowledge of single and twin piston aircraft a must, upgrades to the jet fleet is available. • Having basic electrical skills is highly desired. • The ability to navigate and understand basic wiring prints is desired. • Having a basic background in Avionics 'theory of operation' is also a desired attribute, Garmin installation experience desired. • Should have basic computer skills using Microsoft Windows & Excel.
• Pay would be commensurate with current knowledge and abilities relating to aircraft. • Taughannock Aviation offers a health plan with dental. • 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year. • Basic computer skills are required. • Located in beautiful Ithaca, NY at the southern end of Cayuga Lake.
