A&P Mechanic Wanted:
Clear Air Charter Alaska has a fleet of 4 Cessna 206's on oversize wheels and 3 DHC-2 Beavers on floats. We are an on-demand 135 operator and primarily do seasonal tourism-related work performing beach landings, bear viewing tours and sightseeing. Currently we are looking to hire a full-time year-round A&P mechanic. Summer duties would primarily be doing 100-hour inspections and fixing squawks with secondary duties of moving and fueling planes and cleaning as time permits. In the winter we do heavy maintenance and fleet upgrades. Winter schedule is 4 days a week.
Summer schedule is either 4 or 5 days a week, weekends are required in the summer. The successful candidate would be someone who takes pride in making the fleet a little better and enjoys being an essential part of the team.
Job requirements: A&P Mechanics certificate Valid Drivers license Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing Must have a working cell phone able to call and text
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on either Cessna 206's or DeHavilland Beavers or similar makes 3 years of experience as an A&P
Compensation: Pay is $45-50 dollars an hour depending on experience
