Come and see what we have to offer! Tasks Your main tasks include, among others: • Assists the company in all matters regarding the safety of flight operations
• Maintain a relationship of trust with instructor pilots and students to enhance the open, non-punitive safety culture at Lufthansa Aviation Training
• Performs as a CFI (Certificated Flight Instructor) but is the first point of contact for all safety relevant matters
• Alongside the Director of Safety, Security and Compliance, the Safety Pilot will receive and process confidential safety reports, assist in performing investigations, risk assessments and root cause analysis
• Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements: • Bachelor’s degree Preferred
• FAA CFI, CFII
• Medical Class 1
• Previous experience as Lufthansa Aviation Training flight instructor preferred
• Experience with flight safety reporting and investigations preferred
• Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
