What Will You Be Doing?
Perform preventative maintenance, major and minor repairs on all types of Frontier Airlines ground equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on company ground equipment.
• Perform complex repair on vehicles, both electrical and mechanical.
• Perform diagnostic procedures on vehicles and equipment to determine needed repairs.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and repair on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform welding repairs with MIG welding; stick welding, or acetylene gas welding.
• Order, receive, and inventory parts and supplies.
• Fuel and wash ground equipment as needed.
• Report any heavy maintenance requirements to management and communicate as needed with contract maintenance personnel.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• 2 years of technical accredited training
• 4 years on-the-job experience as a vehicle technician preferred
• Ground Equipment Maintenance experience preferred
• Automotive work experience preferred
• ASE certification preferred
• Ability to interpret printed or computerized maintenance manuals
• Write legibly to complete forms/paperwork as required
Hourly Rate: $26.93 (after 90 days $27.79)
