Join Our Team as a First Officer Pilot!
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.
Assist the PIC and passenger service staff in achieving timely departures.
Collaborate with the PIC in controlling the aircraft during taxi, takeoff, and landing phases.
To be eligible for this role, you must:
Be at least 21 years old.
Possess a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
Hold an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on your Airman Certificate.
Have a valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
Be a U.S. citizen or have documentation proving your right to work in the U.S.
Possess an FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
Have a current Passport or travel documents that allow multiple re-entries into the U.S. and permit legal work.
Be prepared to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Be within three months of meeting the specified flight hour requirements.
Important Written Requirements:
SkyWest will support candidates in completing a SkyWest-approved CTP course after successfully passing the pilot interview.
Applicants must meet the experience standards set by FAR 61.159 before joining us.
Helicopter or Glider Time Considerations:
SkyWest acknowledges the competencies associated with helicopter and glider flying and accepts this time towards total hours, provided a minimum of 250 PIC hours in fixed wing is achieved.

Physical and Other Requirements:
Must hold a First Class Medical Certificate.
Willingness to fly according to the assigned schedule based on pilot bidding seniority; including various shifts.
