Job Description

As a First Officer for a cargo airline company, the pilot works to make every flight journey with care and efficiency. She/he checks the flight, ensures flight plans are made and submit reports regularly. The pilot is responsible for the safety of the aircraft and people onboard

Responsibilities

• Conduct all pre-flight checks to ensure safety;

• Communicate with air traffic control through the flight;

• Check all the cockpit instruments to ensure proper functioning;

• Observe the weather conditions, aircraft position, and air traffic regularly during the flight and request for a change of flight plan if needed;

• File reports of the flight trip and status of aircraft before and after landing.

Education

Degree in aircraft engineering, aviation or related fields

Experience

• Boeing experience preferred;

• Hold a valid ATPL or CPL EASA Licence;

• Hold a valid EASA Part Med Class 1;

• Have a minimum level ICAO English language proficiency level 4;

• Knowledge of federal aviation safety rules, regulations and procedures
