Facility Boiler Operator, MSP

• Follow up on assigned tasks through completion and provide timely updates to management; communicate unfinished work to incoming shift technicians to ensure continuity of operations • Start, regulate, and shut down high- and low-pressure boilers; monitor computerized controls, gauges, and meters to ensure safe operation within established limits • Perform routine preventive maintenance, including lubricating moving parts and replacing or repairing valves, bearings, gaskets, and filters • Test boiler water and apply chemical treatments to prevent corrosion and scale buildup • Log operational data, maintenance activities, and test results; report major malfunctions to the master technician • Inspect safety equipment, respond to emergencies or pressure fluctuations, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations • Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, chilled water, hot water heating, pumps, refrigeration, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems • Maintain accurate records in the maintenance management system and complete work in accordance with established quality and productivity standards • Operate, monitor, and maintain the Building Management System • Perform basic repairs to maintain facility appearance and condition • Maintain required regulatory and safety training and promote a safety-first work environment

This position includes a $6.00 per hour skills premium in addition to the base hourly rate.
