This position assembles, alters, and/or repairs fabricated steel and aluminum products. · Weld materials using the TIG, MIG and oxy acetylene processes. · Set up equipment depending on material and thickness. · Inspect welds as required. · Work in a team environment. · Perform housekeeping and other organizational requirements. · Perform Lean, Standard Work and Continuous Process Improvements. · Assist in new product development by turning a concept into a prototype thru Research & Development. · Fabricate/Repair steel and aluminum products. · Perform routine and unexpected maintenance on equipment. · Maintain appropriate inventory levels. · May work under minimal supervision. · Communicate professionally via phone or email on a consistent basis. Practice good verbal and written communication as required to communicate with team members. · Other duties as assigned.
