Engineer - Off-Wing (Workscope) Propulsion Engineering, MSP

This position is for an Engineer within Propulsion Engineering supporting the MSP Engine Shop in an off-wing workscope role. The position supports all engines overhauled by the shop, including PW2000 and CFM56-5A engines, by providing technical direction, maintenance engineering support, and workscope development for inducted engines. • Provides powerplant engineering support for all engines overhauled in the MSP Engine Shop, including PW2000 and CFM56-5A engines • Assists maintenance with all tasks requiring engineering support, including troubleshooting, technical evaluation, repair development, and disposition support • Provides oversight and technical direction for MSP inducted engines, including creation and management of engine workscopes • Supports engine test cell findings by evaluating results, identifying required follow-up actions, and providing technical guidance to maintenance • Develops repairs to engine components, including exhaust nozzles and other related hardware, as needed to support safe and efficient shop execution • Provides engineering insight to maintenance in support of current shop activity and future engine shop capability expansion efforts • Partners with maintenance, planning, and other stakeholders to support safe, compliant, and efficient overhaul execution
