Director of Maintenance (A&P License Required) The Director of Maintenance is a senior aviation maintenance leadership role that requires a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic certificate with Inspection Authorization (IA) and significant hands‑on experience in aircraft maintenance and supervision. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part 91 Director of Maintenance to support our corporate fleet. Purpose & Scope The Director leads the maintenance organization, ensuring airworthiness, regulatory compliance, reliability, budget control, and personnel management across all aircraft and maintenance shops. The role is both strategic and operational, blending technical expertise with management oversight. Aircraft Supported • Dassault Falcon 2000

Key Responsibilities • Own the maintenance program : Develop and enforce policies, procedures, Minimum Equipment List (MEL) usage, maintenance control, and records management.
• Plan and authorize maintenance : Schedule and prioritize both planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring compliance with manuals, service bulletins, and directives.
• Regulatory compliance : Maintain accurate physical and electronic records, ensure Return‑to‑Service compliance, and manage tooling/calibration.
• Staff management : Recruit, onboard, qualify, and train technicians and line service staff; track qualifications and recurrent training.
• Budget & procurement : Administer maintenance budgets, manage vendor contracts, and control parts inventory.
• Safety & reliability : Chair safety and reliability meetings, lead root‑cause analysis for incidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordination : Liaise with flight operations, dispatch, and training to align maintenance with flying schedules and minimize downtime.
• Hands‑on involvement : Perform maintenance tasks (e.g., inspections, troubleshooting, repairs) to ensure work meets technical data and is returned to service properly.
• Reporting : Brief and debrief operations leadership, crew, and other stakeholders on maintenance activities and requirements.
