Delta Flight Products is seeking a qualified individual with a background as a technician, engineer, or inspector in a manufacturing environment. The individual should also have experience in the aviation industry as a technician or an inspector. The position will be responsible for ensuring that all products produced at Delta Flight Products (DFP) conform to the requirements, as issued in accordance with company policy.
Primary Functions
• Responsible for ensuring all production operations meet inspection requirements • Reads Engineering blueprints to determine requirements for incoming inspections • Takes measurements of key characteristics of parts using traditional measuring devices • Records Acceptance / Rejection information in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool • Uses Instrumented and Non-Instrumented NDT techniques to verify integrity of all products • Issues statement of conformity for all parts produced at DFP
