Small part 91 corporate flight department looking for a flight department manager. We operate a King Air B-200GT turboprop and Cessna 210. You will fly PIC Single-Pilot as needed. This role includes responsibility for managing aircraft readiness, maintenance coordination, scheduling and tracking, regulatory compliance, and general flight department administration. Approximately 10-15 days a month, roughly 150 hours a year. The schedule combines some weekdays, some weekends with a rare overnight. The position will require the person to live within an hour of the Bakersfield airport.
Operational Coordination: -Maintain relationships with service providers, including maintenance facilities, FBO's and regulatory contacts. -Coordinate with company leaders regarding travel plans and scheduling. -Arrange ground transportation, fuel stops and airport services as needed for trips. -Monitor weather and operational conditions to support safe travel decisions.
Required Qualifications: -FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine, Instrument rating and high-altitude endorsement. ATP highly preferred. -Minimum Time: 3000 TT, 1500 Multi-engine, 750 Turboprop, 500 King Air Aircraft. 250 hours in a King Air 200's. -Extensive experience operating as Single-Pilot PIC. -Complete knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation safety practices. -Ability to manage aircraft documentation, maintenance scheduling coordination, and operational logistics. -Ability to communicate clearly with company leadership and aviation service providers.
