FLYADVANCED JET — Primary Base: Houston, Texas – KHOU; Seasonal Operations: New Castle, Delaware – KILG
flyADVANCED is seeking an experienced pilot to join our CJ3 operation as Second in Command (SIC), primarily based at William P. Hobby Airport (KHOU) in Houston, Texas.
This is a Houston-based position. Candidates must currently reside within approximately two hours of KHOU or be willing to relocate to the Houston area to meet operational call-out requirements.
Please note: The aircraft operates seasonally from New Castle Airport (KILG) in Delaware during the summer months. Candidates should be comfortable supporting the aircraft from KILG during this period.
Responsibilities
The Second in Command is responsible for supporting the Pilot in Command in providing a safe, professional, and exceptional air transportation experience for every flyADVANCED Owner and passenger.
Our pilots represent flyADVANCED both in and out of the aircraft and are expected to maintain the highest standards of safety, professionalism, customer service, and aircraft care. This position requires flexibility and a service-oriented mindset, with responsibilities extending beyond the flight deck to providing a concierge-level passenger experience.
Required Qualifications Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land rating Current Second Class Medical or higher Minimum 1,000 hours Total Time Valid passport with no travel restrictions Eligible to obtain CANPASS Strong customer service and communication skills Must be able to successfully complete required drug screening Must reside within approximately two hours of KHOU or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement
Preferred Qualifications CE-525 type rating CJ3 or other Citation 525-series experience Turbine and multi-engine experience Part 135 operating experience Current and actively flying, with recent flight experience
