Pay: $120,000–$160,000 per year
ABOUT THE COMPANY: In 1925 the J. G. Boswell Company planted in California's San Joaquin Valley and grew to become one of the largest farmers in the world. Boswell produces, processes, and markets tomatoes, Pima cotton, and pistachios. The company has taken its farming tradition and enhances it through innovations in every step of the growing process and has developed many of the new techniques and equipment used in modern farming today.
JOB SUMMARY: Professional corporate pilot flying a Citation XLS+ (C560XL) in all Part 91 flight operations. Airplane flight duties involve flying passengers primarily in the Western United States, with occasional multi day multi state trips throughout the United States.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Commercial Multiengine Land with Instrument Rating Required, ATP Multiengine Desired • 3000 Hours Total Flight Time • 500 Hours PIC Time • 500 Hours Multiengine Aircraft Time • 250 Hours Turbine Time • 200 Hours Jet Time Desired • Current FAA 2nd Class Medical • Type Rating Preferred
OTHER SKILLS/DUTIES: In addition to flying duties there are additional non-flight duties that may be included in job duties.
Non flying duties: • Aircraft servicing and preflight • Aircraft preflight planning and performance • Coordinate fuel balances and fuel deliveries • Ensure aircraft navigation publications are current and updated • Attend annual training class and simulator, for all aircraft flown • Ensure aircraft and maintenance publications are current and updated • Ensure all aircraft and facility bills are paid • Occasional coordination of ground transportation and services
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: FAA Airline Transport Pilot Airplane FAA Commercial Rotorcraft with Instrument Rating FAA 2nd Class Medical
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Flying will be based out of the company airport facilities located in Corcoran, California. Most flying is Monday through Friday, some evening and weekend flying as needed to support operations. There are occasional overnight trips throughout the year. As a member of the flight department, you will be one of four pilots supporting company operations. The J.G.
