CHARTER BUTLER — Remote, anywhere in the United States (Dallas/Fort Worth preferred)
CHARTER BROKER - PRIVATE JET CHARTER SALES
Remote, anywhere in the United States (Dallas/Fort Worth preferred). Independent contractor, 1099, commission only.
Please note: this is a charter sales position, not a flight crew position.
Charter Butler is an independent private jet charter brokerage. We arrange on-demand charter and empty-leg flights on a vetted network of licensed Part 135 operators. Because we operate no aircraft of our own, every recommendation is driven by mission fit rather than by whatever happens to be sitting on one company's ramp. We are also developing proprietary search and empty-leg technology designed to surface real, bookable availability instead of making clients wait hours on a quote. Modern tools behind an old-fashioned service standard.
We are hiring our founding charter broker.
THE ROLE
You own the sales desk. You will source, quote, and close charter business, retail trips and empty legs, and build the client book this company grows on. This is a producer's role with genuine autonomy: your clients, your pipeline, your relationships. Because you are first in the seat, you will help set how the desk runs rather than inheriting someone else's process - quoting standards, operator relationships, and the service standard that defines the brand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Source, quote, and close charter bookings: retail, one-way, and empty leg Build and own a client book across high-net-worth individuals, corporate flight departments, entertainment and sports, and family offices Quote through Avinode and direct operator relationships; negotiate pricing that works for both the client and the desk Expand and vet the operator network: ARGUS and Wyvern rated lift, verified certificates and operating authority, operators who actually perform Manage every trip end to end - contracts, disclosures, catering, ground transportation, and the 2 a.m. aircraft substitution Deliver 14 CFR Part 295 disclosures accurately and on time on every trip Bring field intelligence back to the company: what clients are asking for, and what our tools should do next
REQUIREMENTS
Three or more years arranging Part 135 charter, as a broker or in charter sales A portable book of business, or a demonstrated track record of building one quickly Fluency in Avinode: trip search, RFQ management, operator negotiation Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 295 disclosure requirements, and a clear understanding of what separates a legitimate broker from illegal charter Existing operator relationships - people who pick up when you call Comfort working in a small, fast-moving company where you shape the process Clean professional record. ARGUS Certified Broker training a plus.
We will also consider experienced charter dispatchers, schedulers, and former Part 135 pilots who know operators and aircraft cold and want to move to the sales side. Tell us why in your note.
COMPENSATION
Commission only, 1099. Thirty percent of gross margin on every trip you close, uncapped, paid on collection. The split is negotiable for a producer bringing a substantial book.
No assigned territories and no lead rationing. What you close is yours, including the repeat business from clients you bring in. Industry tooling, including Avinode marketplace access, is provided at company expense.
HOW TO APPLY
Email cory@flightlinesolutions.com. Tell us what you closed last year, the kind of clients you serve, and which operators answer when you call.
Charter Butler is an air charter broker, not a direct air carrier. All flights are operated by properly licensed Part 135 direct air carriers.
