Certified A&P Mechanic

Pay: $60,000–$95,000 per year

Tampa Bay Aviation is now hiring a full-time FAA certificated A&P technician working on mainly single engine reciprocating engine aircraft for our FAA part 141 Flight School. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE GENERAL AVIATION EXPERIENCE WITH AT LEAST ONE YEAR HANDS ON RECIPROCATING ENGINE EXPERIENCE AS AN A&P. Inspection Authorization is a plus. Experience on the following aircraft make/models are a plus: FIXED WING: Cessna, Piper, Tecnam; HELICOPTERS: Robinson R22/R44; POWERPLANTS: Lycoming, Continental, Rotax.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities include troubleshooting and addressing squawk issues, performing maintenance in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the Company, aircraft manufacturers, and FAA, taxiing and running up aircraft, performing 50/100 Hour and Annual Inspections, determining airworthiness of aircraft and components, and assuring completeness of all assigned work documents and records.
